Excel and have FUN at the GOLDEN STATE GRIND Baseball Camp. Payment plans, sibling and multiple camp registration discounts are available. Camp times are 9am to 3pm. Player ages 4-18 will be divided according to their appropriate age group or skill level in order to get the most out of the camp.
Nothing is better than playing baseball when school is out. The GOLDEN STATE GRIND Baseball Camp will provide players with better FUNdamentals while helping them prepare for the upcoming season. Players will strengthen their skills and benefit from innovative baseball drills, situational games, and our GRIND competitions. We love this game and we love what we do best, playing and coaching baseball! We work on all aspects of our game through out the camp day and we always play the GRIND WIFFLE BALL WORLD SERIES in the second half of the day. If you don’t know about the GRIND WIFFLE BALL WORLD SERIES! This live game portion of our camp is always a fan favorite because we pick teams and play real baseball games.
Through out the live games our coaches will stop the game when appropriate to have what we call teachable moments. These are the times when we work to help our players to understand the where and why of their positioning and how to properly approach each defensive, baserunning, and/or hitting situation.
BRING YOUR FRIENDS:
Everything is more FUN with friends! Remember to tell your family, friends and teammates about our camps so they can join you! Space for all camps is limited, so early registration is always recommended.

EQUIPMENT:
Players should bring the following items to camp each day:
• Small gym bag/backpack/baseball bag
• Cleats, turf or gym shoes
• Athletic clothing (t-shirt, shorts, baseball pants)
• Hat
• Baseball Glove
• Baseball Bat
• Helmet
• Catchers Gear
• Protective Cup
• Water Bottle (plenty of water)
• Sunscreen
• Packed lunch and snacks
Please make sure all items are properly labeled with your player's name and are properly stored throughout the event. GSG, its directors, and staff are not responsible for lost items.

DAILY LUNCH IS NOT PROVIDED. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU PROVIDE LUNCH FOR YOUR CAMPER EACH DAY.
ARRIVING AT CAMP ON YOUR FIRST DAY OF CAMP...
Plan to arrive at least 15-30 minutes early for the first day of camp. Camps are directed by the Director of Baseball Operations. Various instructors will include professionals, college, high school players and coaches.
By registering you acknowledge the acceptance of the GOLDEN STATE GRIND WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY/USE OF LIKENESSS AUTHORIZATION. Players will not be admitted to the camp without your acceptance.
MAKEUPS:
If you miss a session because of illness, vacation, or a schedule conflict, there can be no make-ups. Additionally, there are no partial refunds for missed days. We pride ourselves on maintaining the player-coach ratio and limiting enrollment in each session. If we allowed extra players in a hitting session because they missed the week before, it would be unfair to others and would compromise the instruction for everyone.
SAFETY:
It is important that players not throw a ball or swing the bat unless they are at a station being instructed by a coach. If a player would step out of a station and throw a ball or swing the bat, or if players walking into an area to start the day throw a ball or swing a bat, there is a good chance someone could get hit. DO NOT THROW BALLS or SWING BATS unless you are in a station being instructed, and it is your turn to throw or hit.
WEATHER:
Because we have reserved the facilities for the specific days of the camp, and scheduling additional days will be difficult, we will avoid postponing sessions due to weather at all costs. If we cannot host camp on one of the scheduled dates, we will always post the notification to our website. We will also send an email with additional information. When possible, we will send a text, email or robo-call notification. While we ask coaches for advance notice, in some instances, postponements may be posted inside of one hour prior to camp. If you are traveling long distance, please keep this in mind.
Please note: If there is no information listed on our website, then we have not yet received information from the Director of Baseball Operations regarding any changes. Please make sure that you check the website and email before coming to the camp if the weather is questionable.
All weather notifications will be posted at https://play.goldenstategrind.com/
Any sessions postponed due to weather will be made up. If weather turns bad during the day, parents or emergency contacts should be available to pick players up if necessary.
CANCELLATIONS:
At the GOLDEN STATE GRIND, we hope you will not have to cancel your enrollment in camp. If you do though, there are NO REFUNDS. It is up to our discretion to offer a credit towards another one of our events.
